This demonstration is from 2011. This is a demonstration of a beginning dancer following salsa moves without having learned salsa. She is following using the simple rules of Andrew Weitzen's ABCDs(sm).

Note that in the video I say that Kathie missed a signal. That was wrong. The mistake was mine. I did not lead the turn correctly. Kathie followed every signal correctly. Kathie got confused because I was wrong.

This is one of the many benefits of having a clearly defined system for communicating. You can evaluate what you do. You can determine what specifically went wrong. You do not have to rely on the experience of others.
